LIFE TRANSITIONS
“…to accomplish anything worthwhile, one must be prepared to face whatever life throws at us.”

The twists and turns of our lives can be quite exciting, especially when we have planned for them and look forward to the changes. While there might be some period of adjustment and anxiety involved, it’s usually manageable.
On the other hand, when we feel that our life is changing due to someone else’s decisions or, circumstances beyond our control, we may become overwhelmed. We may feel paralyzed or powerless, unable to see a way out, incapable of recognizing the options and solutions that are available to us.
This usually happens when we get stuck in a particular way of seeing and being in the world. But there needn’t be only way of living a life. There’s more than one person we can love, more than one career we can excel in, and various new hobbies to explore. We can unearth hidden talents or embrace the ones we’re aware of, changing our lives along the way. By tapping into our creativity, we can solve problems. We can align ourselves with a new philosophy or cause that allows us to connect deeply with people, animals, or the natural world. These are some of the ways we can thrive in the midst of a transition while bringing a newfound meaning into our lives. We all have more abilities and resilience than we give ourselves credit for. The day we can both see and accept these truths, is the day we will begin the next adventure in our lives.
