About Me

“Being human means responding to life situations, replying to the questions they ask.” - (Viktor E. Frankl, 2000, ‘Man’s Search for Ultimate Meaning”)

My therapeutic style is direct and my approach is eclectic. In my experience, cookie-cutter approaches topsychotherapy don’t work. I recognizethat everyone is different, so consequently, I tailor the counseling sessionsto the needs of the person(s) sitting before me. Regardless of the approach I employ, be itpsychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral or even existential, I firmly believe therapy needs to be a teameffort, with all parties contributing equally, if a successful outcome is to be achieved.

While I work with individuals who are grappling with a widevariety of problems, including anxiety and depression, I have a specialinterest in working with people who are seeking therapy for:

● Couples Counseling and Relationship Issues
● Life Transitions
● Animal Bereavement Counseling
● Crisis Intervention
